2010 Hall of Fame Inductees


The International Tennis Hall of Fame induction for 2010 featured 5 of the greatest doubles players ever to have take the court.

Aussie legend Owen Davidson is a calendar year Grand Slam Holder in 1967-partnering with Leslie Turner Bowery and Billie Jean King.

Two more Aussies were inducted this year,Todd Woodbridge and Mark Woodforde, known as the Woodies, Won 11 grand slam titles -including 5 straight Wimbledon titles and Olympic gold in 1996

The team of Gigi Fernandez- USA- and Natasha Zvereva - Russia- hold 14 Grand Slam titles together including 6 in a row beginning with the French open in1992 and continuing through Wimbledon in 1993 Their induction this year Honored those performances as well as the fine careers both player had in singles.

The most inspiring induction of 2010 was the recognition of Brad Parks who suffered a disabling injury in 1976 and went on to pioneer wheelchair tennis. His induction should be heralded as a soaring triumph over adversity.
